Top Free to Play Games Performance in Latin America Q2 2023

In the second quarter of 2023, the top five free-to-play games in Latin America showcased noteworthy trends in their performance metrics. Here’s a detailed look at their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends based on data from Sensor Tower.

Free Fire: 7th Anniversary demonstrated robust performance throughout the quarter. Weekly revenue peaked at approximately $985K in the week of May 1, with consistent figures around $800K to $900K in other weeks. The game saw impressive weekly downloads, reaching up to 1.3M in late May. Despite a slight decline in active users from 62M to 54M, it maintained a strong user base.

Coin Master from Moon Active also showed solid trends. Weekly revenue saw a peak of around $963K in late May. Downloads experienced a gradual decline from 418K at the start of the quarter to around 200K by the end. Active users decreased from 2.3M to 1.9M over the same period.

Roblox maintained a steady performance with weekly revenue fluctuating between $671K and $814K. Downloads peaked at about 1.4M in early May but saw a dip to around 833K in late May. Active users, however, showed a positive trend, increasing from 38M to over 42M by the end of June.

Candy Crush Saga from King showed a consistent revenue stream, peaking at approximately $745K in mid-April. Weekly downloads fluctuated, with a high of 656K in mid-May and a low of 421K in late May. Active users saw a decline from 6.6M to around 5.8M towards the end of the quarter.

Call of Duty®: Mobile experienced steady revenue, peaking at about $514K in early June. Downloads varied, reaching a high of 289K in early April. Active users saw minor fluctuations but remained relatively stable around 3.5M throughout the quarter.
